What are Earth Runners?
Earth Runners Mission is to help recover our connection with nature and reestablish healthy physical and biological functions.

Earth Runners are grounding minimalist sandals inspired by the world-renowned long-distance runners, the Tarahumara Native American Indians of Northwestern Mexico. Earth Runner Sandals recreate that one-of-a-kind primal experience of running or hiking barefoot while minimizing the risk of injury to your feet.
What makes Earth Runners different than any other sandal?

Barefoot Shoes and knees
My interest in barefoot shoes began when I started having issues with my knees mostly when running, which then carried over into hiking.
Research has found that shoes with elevated heels create an unnatural position and are not good for joint health, which takes a toll over time. Wearing shoes, such as high-heel shoes may result in degenerative changes to the knee.
Walking barefoot/ or barefoot, flexible shoes allow the foot to move more naturally, which can help to strengthen the muscles and ligaments in the foot and ankle. This can help to prevent knee pain by improving the stability of the joint.
Having a wide toe box is also important so your toes can spread out rather than being squished together! This will also improve balance, strength, and circulation, and reduce the risk of injury!
Barefoot shoes encourage less dependency on shoe equipment and more dependence on strong muscles of the feet and legs, which will help improve body posture, stride, and performance overall!
