This chapstick is so easy to make and 100% natural, your family and friends will love you! And you’ll never have to buy chapstick again!

What You Will Need:

  1. Almond Oil (or Coconut Oil or Oil of Choice!)
  2. Shea Butter
  3. BeesWax
  4. Essential Oils of Choice (I used Tangerine, Ginger & Lemon)
  5. Pipettes
  6. Lip Balm Containers (Containers of choice!)
  7. Double Boiler (or a pot and a heat proof bowl to sit inside!)
  8. Spoon to Mix
  9. Optional Color Tint: Manjistha Powder

Servings 22 Chapsticks

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Tbsp Almond Oil Or Coconut Oil
  • 2 Tbsp Shea Butter
  • 2 Tbsp Beeswax
  • 15 Drops Tangerine Essential Oil (Or other oils of choice!)
  • 10 Drops Ginger Essential Oil
  • 5 Drops Lemon Essential Oil
  • Manjistha Powder (Or natural Coloring) Optional***

Instructions
 

  • Using a double boiler or filling a pot with a few inches of water, placing the glass container in the skillet, making sure the water cannot get into the glass container. Fill the glass container with Almond Oil (or Coconut), Shea Butter and Besswax over medium heat. Allow to melt completely.
  • Get your chapsticks (or container of choice) set up and ready to be filled.
  • Stir occasionally until totally melted.
  • Once Melted stir in the Essential Oils of choice
  • Remove from heat.
  • Use the Pipetts or syringe to squeeze liquid into the chapstick holders and allow to cool and harden (about 2 minutes or so)
  • Once hard, maybe top off the chapsticks to smooth out! Add the tops and they are ready to go!

Once melted stir in the Essential Oils of choice and remove from heat.

Use the Pipettes or syringe to squeeze liquid into the chapstick holders and allow to cool and harden (about 2 minutes or so)

Once hard, maybe top off the chapsticks to smooth out! Add the tops and they are ready to go!

Additional Essential Oils
