Iced Matcha Latte

This refreshing Iced Matcha made in less than 5 minutes! (Ingredient list shows amounts for both 1 or 2 mason jar glasses, so enjoy a glass to yourself, or share with a loved one!)

Ingredients
  

  • tsp Matcha (3 tsp for 2 servings)
  • 2 tbsp Hot Water (4 tbsp for 2 servings)
  • 1 cup Ice (2 cup for 2 servings)
  • 1 cup GF Oat Milk (or Milk of Choice) (2 cups for 2 servings)
  • 1 tbsp Raw Honey (Maple Syrup or Sweatener of Choice) (2 tbsp for 2 servings)
  • ½ tsp Vanilla Extract (1 tsp for 2 servings)

Optional

  • Favorite Protein Powder

Instructions
 

  • Heat water (not boiling), then in a small bowl add the Matcha Powder, and use a Bamboo Whisk, and mix well until Matcha is completely dissolved. (this is the Matcha Kit I have)
  • In a mason jar or glass, add the ice.
  • Either pour the Oat Milk (milk of choice) over ice and add the Honey (or sweetener of choice), Vanilla Extract and Matcha and Protein Powder (Optional - Mine is not Vegan) and mix with a spoon. Or Mix all ingredients in a separate container, using an immersion blender, or blender of choice, then pour over ice!
    (I usually buy Chobani GF & Organic Oat Milk - its Cheaper at Hannaford)
  • Serve & Enjoy!

Notes

The honey likely will not mix as well in cold liquid, so using the immersion blender will help that. (I do not recommend adding the honey with the boiling water and matcha as it will lose the health benefits of raw honey.)
